INITIATORS |
BSA ”Lui Air”( Lui Air was a Swiss citizen, a teacher in sport from 1894-1916 in towns: Lom, Silistra and Ruse and was reputed to be a founder of sport movement here and died on 2 September 1916 during the World War 1 for Bulgaria) is non-governmental organization, which was founded in 1991 from a group of progressive citizens in Ruse, Todor Mitev, Arhangel Mitev and Nikolai Kaftanjiev were who suggested that-initiators of creating associations in Lom and Silistra, supported by Mrs. Lada Brashova, the President of Bulgaria Switzerland Sofia, with active support of Vania Vakinova, Dimitar Gilev ,Maria Lukareva, Bojidar Manev, Georgi Dimitrov, Silvi Stamboliev, Galia Ovcharova, Minko Tsochev, monsignor Samuel Dzudrin, Stefan Beron and more, on the occasion of celebrating the seven hundredth anniversary of Switzerland Confederation (01.08.1291). The Presidents of the Association have been Dimitar Gilev – a stage-painter (1991-1998) and Stefan Berov (1998- 2001). |

THE MISSION OF THE ASSOCIATION |
To present actual information to its members and to the citizens, to stimulate inner and international co-operation for economical development in Danube Region in areas: ecology, health services, culture, science, sport, social politic and management, to create wide web of partners. |
